A major search engine optimisation exercise resulted in a 50% jump in traffic and a dramatic increase in the number of pages in Google's index. Site upgrades have included RSS Feeds and Accessiblity improvements. The site was also recoded to valid XTHML and CSS.

Dramatic increase in traffic

The search engine optimisation resulted in an 50% increase in traffic and saw the number of pages in Google's index go from 1 to 130. Barristers names are now returned when entered into Google. This is an important aspect of the website for 12KBW.

Improved accessbility

The site makes extensive use of flash so care was taken in the rewrite to provide a non-flash alternative. Improvements were also made to the site to improve accessiblity for users with visual impairments or motor disabilities. The site now passes Priority 1 and 3 checkpoints on Bobby.

RSS Feeds

12KBW are now also taking advantage of RSS feeds. The feeds are used to help internal staff and clients to keep up with breaking news and the latest Case Commentaries.
