About

Who we are

Shape Shed is a small creative agency based in London. It was founded in February 2006 By George Ornbo.

In that time we have served over 100 clients including charities, businesses and venture capital funded start-ups.

We are a small agency with a network of trusted freelancers, meaning we can respond to almost any requirement.

We seek to minimise our impact on the environment by recycling the paper and products we use. We are currently working towards becoming a carbon neutral business.

Why Shape Shed?

A commitment to Web Standards

The web is evolving very quickly. Technologies come and go with increasing speed. The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) exists to help standardise the technologies on the web. Shape Shed follows recommendations and standards from the W3C. Benefits include:

A commitment to Accessibility

Accessibility is a philosophy of ensuring all users can access and use a website regardless of whether they are able bodied or otherwise. Now part of UK law, accessibility is an important consideration when commissioning a website. Shape Shed hand-codes every site with care and dedication to ensure this occurs. Benefits include:

A commmitment to Usability

Usability is really just a measure of how easy a site is to use. As standard Shape Shed uses many techniques to make websites easier to use. Users are placed at the centre of our process to ensure sites are simple and intuitive. Benefits include:

Good, old fashioned service

We understand that many of our clients are new to understanding how websites work. We aim to make the process of creating a website as transparent and simple as possible. We avoid jargon and take time to explain what things mean. We believe that offering good service is as important as our skills.

80% of our business has come through word of mouth so our clients seem to agree.
